Create in Clay! – A Summer Pottery Program for Kids

Instructor: Lara Fahnlander

Get out your messy clothes and come join us for a week of playing with clay! You will learn how to use a pottery wheel and get plenty of practice. We’ll also do fun hand-building projects like pinch pots, slab construction, coil pots and hidden treasure containers. We will even fire some of your favorite pieces, so they will last for years to come.

Whether you need a new cereal bowl or a place to hide your life savings, you can make it this summer!

Note: There will be an optional glazing party 1-2 weeks after the class is completed (as long as a minimum of 4 students would like to attend). If you would like to attend the glazing party and glaze any completed pieces before firing, there is an additional $22 fee for time and glaze costs. Please choose this option when completing your payment if you would like to attend.
