Learn to make soap from scratch with us! This class will give you a simple introduction to the proper method of cold process soapmaking which uses lye. By the end of the class you will have learned the skills to make a batch of soap. And we’ll send you home with a few samples, recipes and a supply list. This class is ideal for beginners who have never made soap before.

As you think ahead to scheduling, below are the parameters of the instructor’s availability:

Length of Class: 3 hours

Dates of the class: The instructor is available before December 25th.

Times of Class: Instructor is available evenings or weekends from 6 to 10pm.

Maximum number of students: 10

Minimum number of students: 4

Age range: 18 and older

Prerequisites: Good mood!

Location: The Folk School kitchen area.

Cost: $39/participant (member price); $58/participant (non-member price)

Materials fee: $10 per participant

To Register: Please fill out the Class Registration Form below and click on the “Submit” button. The Folk School and the instructor will review the registration form and contact you to schedule the class (based on the instructor’s availability as well as your preferences).
